Family Support Meetings
The Heroin Epidemic Relief Organization (HERO) and PATH (Positive Acceptances Towards Healing) offer weekly support groups in New Lenox and Plainfield to assist people who are struggling with a family member who suffers from addiction.
HERO Family Support Meetings are held on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at Lincolnway Christian Church, 690 E. Illinois Highway, New Lenox.
PATH Family Support Meetings are held on Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m. at Linden Oaks in Plainfield, 24600 W. 127th St., Building B, Suite 330, in Plainfield.
Meetings are free and open to anyone with a family member or loved one who is currently struggling, or has struggled, with addiction. The group discusses topics that give families the information and tools they need. People are invited to attend for as long as they need the information and support.
